Music Concert Performance Evaluation

1.       What were you hoping to achieve as part of your arts project?
To gain confidence and perform in front of an audience.

2.       What was involved in the rehearsal process?
Just constant practice.

3.       What skills do you think you have developed as part of this project?
I have developed confidence and some musical knowledge/terminology.

4.       What do you think went well in the performance?
I think pretty much everything went well in the performance.

5.       What do you think went less well?
The only thing that could have gone better was when the lead singer for Love on the Brain had a slight slip up due to nerves, however, she pulled herself to finish the performance well.

6.       Do you think that you achieved your arts challenge?
Yes, my challenge was to gain confidence and to perform in front of a crowd and I have done both.

7.       What could you improve or do differently?
We could improve the arrangement of Price Tag as it was pretty last minute and could have been done a lot better if we had more practice.

11/12/18 - Rehearsal for Music Concert

In today's rehearsal for the music concert we were in the theatre where the concert is taking place and performing for a sound check. We sang both the songs we will be performing on the night, those being Love on the Brain by Rihanna and Price Tag by Jessie J. Both songs were performed well and sounded professional. However, the only part of the piece that I feel was lacking would have to be the performance aspect. I feel as if the backing-vocals could add more movement to their side of the performance as right now there is only a side-to-side motion for them to complete. During the rehearsal we also went over the performing order and what we have to wear for the performance.
